Christina Ciortan tanulmányait Drobeta Turnu Severinen kezdte, majd Bukarestben folytatta, jelenleg a Bukaresti Nemzeti Zeneegyetem tanulója, olyan tanárok vezetése alatt, mint Victor Rosu, Liviu Georgescu, Catalin Stefanescu. 2oo2-től napjainkig számos hazai és külföldi fesztivál és megmérettetés első díját mondhatja magáénak, vendégszerepelt többek közt Magyarországon, Szlovéniában és Szerbiában is. Több mesterkurzuson vett részt, emellett zsűritag volt az Eduard Pamfil Nemzetközi Gitárfesztiválon, továbbá számos tévés szereplést is magáénak mondhat.
