DUO SOLARIS
Florian Larousse and Jérémy Peret met during their studies at the Paris Conservatory (Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique). That’s where they first played guitar duo together, but it’s only in 2014 that they formed the Duo Solaris. They joined around the desire to explore the repertoire and the possibilities of transcriptions that offer this formation.
Performing also as soloists, Florian and Jérémy are both laureates of international competitions, and had opportunities to play on international scenes( guitar foundation of America, Festival de guitar de Paris, Sevilla guitar festival...). They studied under the tutelage of great names, such as Judicaël Perroy, Roland Dyens, Carlo Marchione, and are both graduated with a master degree.
Florian’s awards at the Guitar Foundation of America’s competition and the Hubert Kappel competition in Koblenz in 2009 have assured him a large international audience with a series of concerts planned in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Germany and elsewhere, as well as a CD recording with Naxos.
Jérémy started with jazz guitar and contemporary music, which he’s still exploring beside classical guitar. He is now participating actively in different cultural projects, which allow him to express in differents ways and in collaboration with other forms of art (Les Détours Métaphoniques, Ensemble Le Balcon...)
Together, they are laureate of the international chamber music competition FNAPEC (Paris, 2016)
