LEAŢĂ Eduard

Eduard LEAŢĂ started the study of guitar in the School of Arts, and from the 5th grade, he is a pupil at the Art High school “Dinu Lipatti” from Pitesti. He gained over 70 prizes, 30 of them being first prizes at the National Olympics of music organized in Craiova, Tg. Jiu, Suceava, Cluj-Napoca, Bacau, Bucuresti, as well as at National and International Contests and Festivals of classical guitar. He held recitals Radio Cultural Romania, and was selected in 2007 by soprano Felicia Filip for the young talents group, performing in the Filipissima show. In order to improve his technique, Eduard took master-classes with great guitar players: Carlo Marchione, Gabriel Bianco, Oscar Ghiglia, Costas Cotsiolis, Srdan Tosic, Hubert Kappel. In 2008, guitar is present for the first time in the Romanian at the national selection of the of the international Contest Eurovision Young Musician, where Eduard gained the third prize. At present, Eduard studies at the “Dinu Lipatti” Music Highschool from Pitesti, in the 12th grade, under the guidance of professor Maria Badea.
