MUNTEAN George
George Muntean has started to study classic guitar at age of 11 with his teacher, Paraschiv Emilian.
In 2002 he graduates Sigismund Toduta Music High School, Cluj Napoca where he studied with both Constantin Andrei and Adrian Andrei.
As a student he played in numerous solo and chamber music recitals and also earned several distinctions in different national and international contests. He also participated at some master-classes, among than the one taught by Ulrich Muller. He graduated the Academy of Music Gh. Dima Cluj Napoca in 2006, and since then he teaches at Sigismund Toduta Music High School and at Augustin Bena Music School in Cluj Napoca.
Beside his teacher career, George Muntean collaborates with the National Opera of Cluj Napoca and he is one of the familiar members of the Transilvania International Guitar Festival jury.
