BEKE István Ferenc
Beke István Ferenc was born in 1979 in Odorheiu Secuiesc. Graduate of the Faculty of Interpretation and of the Master in the classical guitar specialization at the Academy of Music “Gheorghe Dima”,Cluj-Napoca, under the guiding of the professor dr. Constantin Andrei, he is, in present, a candidate for doctor’s degree under the guiding of the professor dr. Pavel Puscas in the same Academy and the president of the Association Harmonia Cordis from Tg. Mures.
He is a guitar professor and also a professor of chamber music at the Academy of Music “Gheorghe Dima” and at the Babes Bolyai University.
He benefitted from a scholarship of the Music Conservatory from Osnabruck, Germany, in the class of Professor Ulrich Muller. Moreover, he also benefitted from a scholarship from the Faculty of Music from Segedin, Hungary, in the classes of Professor Bozki Andrea and Dr. Pavlovits David. His preuniversitary studies were coordinated by Ovidiu Atanasiu Ene and Bodurian Janos.
Being awarded numerous prizes at national and international classical guitar contests, he took part in countless master classes in country and abroad. He also held music recitals and chamber concerts in Romania, Hungary, Germany and United States.
Beke Istvan Ferenc is the organizer of the guitar festivals from Tg. Mures and “Terra Siculorum” (Odorheiu Secuiesc, Miercurea Ciuc, Sfantu Gheorghe)
