Classical guitarists Katrin Klingeberg and Sebastián Montes are outstanding performers who together form the Guitar Duo Klingeberg-Montes, which has won several awards in international guitar competitions. They have performed in many countries in Europe, South America, the USA and Japan. As a duo they completed a chamber music master’s degree and after that the concert exam under the tutelage of the renowned Kaltchev Guitar Duo at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart. In 2010 the Debut CD of the Guitar Duo KM has been released. Besides original repertoire for two guitars the CD includes transcriptions of baroque music and south american folk music. Since april 2012 Katrin Klingeberg and Sebastián Montes live in Santiago the Chile where Sebastián has been appointed to a professorship at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
