Katrin Klingeberg and Sebastian Montes formed a duo in 2004 while studying in Hanover. Since then the Klingeberg-Montes duo has given concerts in Germany, Portugal, Spain, Italy and Chile.

In 2005 Katrin Klingeberg and Sebastian Montes, together with the Reutlingen’s Young Symphony Orchestra, performed the Concierto Madrigal by Joaquín Rodrigo for 2 guitars and orchestra.

The duet has been accepted to study master classes in chamber music at Stuttgart’s University for Music and Performing Arts and since April 2008 has been receiving tuition there from the reknowned Bulgarian Guitar Duo Kaltchev.

In December 2008 the guitar duo Klingeberg-Montes won the first prize in the Luys Milán Chamber Music Competition in Valencia and in August 2009 they won the first prize in the VII Transilvania International Guitar Festival.
