MIHĂILESCU Bogdan

Bogdan Mihailescu started playing guitar at the age of 10. In 2010 he graduated from “George Enescu” Highschool of Music in the class of prof. Liviu Georgescu. After one year at the National Univeristy of Music in Bucharest with Prof.dr. Catalin Stefanescu-Patrascu, he decided to continue his studies in Paris with prof. Judicael Perroy at the Regional Conservatory of Aulnay sous Bois. Recently, he received the highest rank in the entrance competition to the Superior National Conservatory in Paris, where he studies with Olivier Chassain. At the same time, he studies privately with Judicael Perroy.

At the age of 21, Bogdan is the winner of over 40 national and international prizes, among wich we mention first prize at the festivals: ”Sinaia”, “Iasi”, “Craiova”, “Maestrii Chitarei”, “Terra Siculorum”, “Eduard Pamfil”.

He has attended master classes under the guidance of renowned professors, such as: Carlo Marchione, Zoran Dukic, Gerhard Reichenbach, Alexis Muzurakis, Tilman Hoppstock, Gabriel Bianco, Pavlovits David, Pavel Steidl, Costas Cotsiolis, Ulrich Muller and many others.

Bogdan performed on the most important concert halls of Bucharest: Grand Hall of the Romanian Atheneum, “Tinerimea Romana” and “Mihail Jora” Radio Hall, where he performed together with the Radio Chamber Orchestra.

He was invited to play in numerous festivals across the country and has had interviews and shows with several radio and tv networks.
