3rd Edition, 12–18 April, 2010
The third edition of the International Festival of Classical Guitar „Terra Siculorum” – Romania 2010 will include:
- International guitar competition
- Young guitarists competition
- Recitals
- Masterclasses
The official opening will take place on Monday, April 12th, at 12 p.m.,
Competitions, masterclasses will be in Odorheiu Secuiesc.
Concerts and recitals in Odorheiu Secuiesc, Miercurea Ciuc, Sfântu Gheorghe.
Sign-Up Fees:
- International guitar competition sign-up fee 20 euro
- Young guitarists competition sign-up fee 20 euro
- Masterclasses – Active participation 50 euro
- Masterclasses – Passive participation 25 euro
- Recitals – Free of charge
- Accommodation fee:
20 RON/night/person in hostel/campus
40 RON/night/person in motel with breakfast
50 RON/night/person in hotel (3 person per room) with breakfast - Lunch and Dinner 22 RON/day/person

Regulation of the International guitar competition
The contest is open to all guitarists regardless of their age and will include three stages:
First stage – eliminatory: the contest programs will last for a maximum of 15 minutes and will include:
- A piece from Renaissance or Baroque
- A piece from Classical or Romanticism
Second stage: the contest programs will last for a maximum of 25 minutes and will include:
- A contemporary piece written after 1950.
- Free program
The jury’s decisions are final.
Regulation of the Young guitarists competition
The guitar contest will include 3 age categories:
A) participants that were born after April 20th, 1998
B) participants that were born after April 20th, 1995
C) participants that were born after April 20th, 1991
- For category A) the contest programme will be freely chosen and will last for a maximum of 10 minutes;
- For category B) the contest programs will last for a maximum of 15 minutes and will include two musical pieces from various ages of creation;
- For category C) the contest programs will last for a maximum of 20 minutes and will include three musical pieces from various ages of creation;
The Harmonia Cordis Association will also award special prizes.
The jury’s decisions are final.
