At eighteen, Thibaut Garcia is a musician who is invited in several festival in Europe, in Spain (guitar festival of Requena, Valencia, Torrent, Alicante…), in Germany (guitar festival of Rotenburg, Weimar, Hambourg...) in France ( Paris guitar festival, Toulouse, Nimes …) Born in Toulouse in France, Thibaut begins to play the guitar at the age of seven. His Spanish origins give him a really influence in his way of thinking. He studied in Toulouse with Robb Storar, Marc Navarro then Paul Ferret who with he got his diploma with the best mention and the congratulations of the jury in 2011. At sixteen he enters the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris ans studies with Olivier Chassain and Judicael Perroy in private lessons. Thibaut has already got several competition prizes like the first prize at the international competition Ana Amalia in Weimar, and the special prize of the Rotenburg festival. He won the status of best young European musician decided by the EMCY. He won the second prize at the international competition Petrer et second prize at the international competition of Coria (both in Spain). He is also laureate of international lions club competition. Interessed by contemporary music, he collaborates with the contemporary dance class of the CNSMDP. In December, 2013, hehas the project to play Sequenza XI of Berio, pillar work of the contemporary guitar music in presence of Pierre Boulez. Determined to explore a new repertory for the guitar, he realizes transcriptions (for guitar duet and solo guitar) and insert in his program some different pieces from another repertory like the 6th partita for keyboard of Bach.

Tizennyolc éves korára Thibaut Garcia nem csak hazájában népszerű előadó, gyakorta hívják spanyolországi, németországi és franciaországi fesztiválokra is. Francia és spanyol származása meghatározta karrierjét. Toulouse-ban született, zenei tanulmányait is itt kezdte. Robb Storar, Marc Navarro és Paul Ferret mesterek tanították, 2011-ben dicsérettel diplomázott. Tizenhat évesen már a Párizsi Zene- és Táncművészeti Konzervatórium diákja, ahol Oliver Chassain és Judicael Perroy irányítása alatt tanul. Hazájában és Spanyolországban is több neves fesztivál és verseny első díját nyerte el. Érdeklődése kiterjed a kortárs zenére is, szándékai közt szerepel megújítani a klasszikus gitár repertoárját.
