The guitarist Agustín Nazzetta formed his distinctive artistic qualities in the tradition of Argentinian guitar players, mainly by Prof. Pablo Márquez, Prof. María Isabel Siewers and Prof. Javier Bravo. Born in 1990 in Argentina, he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Musical Arts from the National Arts University Institute (IUNA) Department of Musical Arts “Carlos López Buchardo” at the Chair of Maestro Javier Bravo. In 2012 he moved to Salzburg to pursue a master’s degree at the Universität Mozarteum with María Isabel Siewers. He currently lives in Basel, Switzerland where he realized his most significant growth with Maestro Pablo Márquez and is doing the Certificate of Excellence MAB with Maestro Paul Galbraith at the Musikakademie Basel.

He won First Prize at the Incontri Chitarristi di Gargnano in Italy, First Prize at the Guitar Festival Rust 2019 in Austria, Second Prize at the Festival International de Guitare de Paris, Second Prize at the International Guitar Festival BRNO, Third Prize at the Andres Segovia International Competition in Linares, Third Prize at the Oberhausen Competition 2018, and Second Prize at the 2011 Federal Biennial Award Competition organized by the Federal Investment Council of the city of Buenos Aires. In February 2011, he was selected at the “2011 La Falda International Classical Guitar Meet” to perform as a soloist at a series of concerts with the Orchestra of the National Congress. In 2010, he was awarded Second Prize of the International Competition, María Luisa Anido, of the city of Buenos Aires. In 2009, he received Second Prize at the "XVIII Young Music Students Choice" organized by the Mozarteum of Santa Fe and Second Prize at the First Argentine Music Competition for the Guitar, organized by Argentmusica. In addition to his career as a soloist, his interest in contemporary music has led him to work with young composers, ensembles and conductors.
