Nikita Boldyrev was born in 1987 in Moscow. He graduated the State Musical College of pop and jazz art (2007, Honours Degree) and the State Classical Academy (2012, guitar class of Nikolay Golovnya).

Nikita Boldyrev was included to the World Records Book as “the person who sets the world record for the speed of mastering the guitar repertoire” (the formulation of the Russian Bureau for the registration of records, 2001). During his studies at the college he was a grant-holder of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Vladimir Spivakov Foundation. Nikita also was awarded a state prize for the support of talented youth by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation (2006).

He performed with solo concert programs in the cities of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Serbia. He participated in guitar and jazz festivals in Russia, Poland, Austria, Serbia, Ukraine, Belarus, including the “Guitar World” festivals (Kaluga, 2009, 2013), “Guitar Virtuos” (Moscow, 2012), “Strings” (Serbia, 2015), “Golden Vultures” (Moscow, 2017), “The Pink Panther” (Ufa, 2018). Last years he performed with concerts and master classes in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Bryansk, Kirov, Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Zarechny, Severodvinsk, Murmansk, Monchegorsk, Belgorod, Kursk, Orel, Ufa, Oktyabrsky. Nikita participated in television and radio programs.

Nikita Boldyrev is a laureate of numerous all-Russian and international competitions, and he won both in classical and jazz nominations, which is a rare event among modern guitarists. Nikita Boldyrev's contemporary art is based at the junction of classical and jazz music. Stylistically, his repertoire can be described as “jazz in classical guitar” and “fingerstyle”. Nikita Boldyrev also actively collaborates with composers Gennady Gladkov, Nikita Koshkin, Vyacheslav Osminin, Marina Landa and Yuri Marki.

Since 2008 he teaches at the Guitar College (Moscow).
